After 17 seasons and 81 productions, Virginia Musical Theatre presents its second season at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, located in Virginia Beach's vibrant Town Center. The season combines the sounds of contemporary Broadway with the great traditions of American musical theatre.

Sandler Center for the Performing Arts

All shows will be at the new Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. Located at the intersection of Commerce and Market Streets in Town Center, "the region's newest performing arts facility will host scores of nationally renowned entertainers while providing a world class home for the area's finest performing arts organizations"

Auditions for Elton John's AIDA

Virginia Musical Theatre will hold regional Equity and non-Equity auditions for Elton John's AIDA to take place on Saturday, August 23rd, from 11am to 3pm in the Miller Studio Theatre at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, located at 201 Market Street in Virginia Beach's Town Center area.

Needed are men and women between the ages of 16 and 40. Auditionees should bring a current resume and headshot and prepare one musical number in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Dance auditions will also be held that day. Please call the theatre office at 757-340-5446 (Mon-Fri, 9am-3pm) to schedule an audition time.
